A 12-member Russian presidential delegation arrived on Monday at Cairo International Airport to prepare for President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Egypt slated for 9 February.
During the two-day visit, the delegation will tackle bilateral ties, follow up on agreements that were made during President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s visit to Moscow in August, as well as discuss regional and international issues.
The last visit by a Russian president to Egypt was made in June 2009. Dmitry Medvedev was president at the time.
