Sabbahi: Dark days for oppressors, light for the oppressed

Presidential candidate Hamdeen Sabbahi said the coming days in Egypt will be “dark for oppressors, light for the oppressed,” insinuating what he would do if he became president.

Speaking to thousands of his supporters after the Friday prayers at the Ibrahim al-Dessouky mosque in Kafr al-Sheikh, Sabbahi said he is an ordinary man like anyone else. “I am the son of the Egyptian farmer, the Egyptian fisherman, the Egyptian worker and the ordinary Egyptian government employee,” he said. “I dream of pride and dignity for the Egyptian people.”

“The next days will see prosperity for the heroic Egyptians,” he said.

“We love you Hamdeen,” cheered his supporters.
