Salah wins Africa’s best player in February: France Football

France Football Magazine named on Sunday the Egyptian footballer and winger of Liverpool club Mohamed Salah as the best player in Africa in February.

Salah won the prize for the second time in a row ahead of Dutch-born Moroccan footballer Zakaria Labyad, midfielder for Utrecht Club, and Togolese footballer and striker for Turkish club İstanbul Başakşehir.

Salah, 25, performed exceptionally with the Reds in February, scoring five goals and assisting in two goals in four matches — one in the UEFA Champions League and three in the Premier League.

Salah is the top goal scorer after netting his 24th Premier League goal against Newcastle with stiff competition being provided to the prolific Tottenham frontman Kane who scored the same (24 goals).

Salah has scored 32 goals and assisted in another 11 in 38 matches in all competitions.
