Security clears protesters to reopen Sinai highway

Security forces in North Sinai Governorate, in collaboration with tribesmen of the Be’r al-Abd village, have reopened the international road that runs from Qantara to Arish after it was blocked by protesters.

Eyewitnesses said hundreds of protesters claiming members of another tribe had seized one of their cars blocked the international coastal road by setting tires on fire to hinder traffic.
