Seven Russian tourists injured in car accident south of Hurghada

Seven Russian tourists were injured in a car accident south of Hurghada. They were taken by ambulance to the hospital.

The tourists were returning from a submarine trip to their hotel in Abu Soma.

Nearly 100,000 car accidents took place from 2008 to 2012 in Egypt, leaving 33,000 dead and 155,000 injured, according to a government report released in March.

Traffic accidents are usually blamed on impetuous driving and bad road conditions.
