The quarter-finals of the Sharm El-Sheikh International Squash men and women’s championship kick off on Thursday in the giant glass court that was transferred to the Youth Quarter of the city.
Squash Federation President Assem Khalifa said 100 players from 23 countries are competing, pointing out that the federation decided to raise the prizes to $50,000.
He said Youth and Sports Minister Khaled Abdel Aziz is attending the final to give the prizes and inspect the new squash complex in the city.
