Sharqiya bombing probe referred to military judiciary

Judge Ahmed Dabs, the Attorney General for South Sharqiya, said that investigations into the car bomb that detonated near the military intelligence building in Belbais, Sharqiya Governorate, have been referred to the military prosecutor.
 
Debas said the decision came in accordance with the law, which states that assaults on military installations should be ruled upon by the military judiciary, whether the perpetrator was a military officer or a civilian.
 
Ten suspects have been arrested by Sharqiya police in the latest roundup, bringing the suspects under arrest so far to 25.
 
An explosive device detonated on Sunday morning in the vicinity of the military intelligence building in Anshas, Sharqiya.
 
The Interior Ministry posted on Facebook that the explosion injured four soldiers and caused a partial collapse in the back wall of the building.
