President Abdel Fattah El Sisi posed for a photo op with a group of young residents of El Asmarat City on Thursday.
The president arrived at the residential city in Cairo’s Mokattam neighborhood before sunset to attend a Ramadan Iftar banquet with its residents, local and community leaders and some members of the House of Representatives.
Upon his arrival, the president toured the El Asmarat Productive Families Exhibition, promising to see to it that the productive families’ needs of production equipment and machines will be secured.
He chatted with some of the residents about life in their new homes in El Asmarat City, built for the purpose to relocate and rehouse slum dwellers in Greater Cairo.
