Temperatures to drop slightly on Friday

Meteorologists expect temperatures to decrease on Friday, resulting in a mild weather along the north coast, and moderate temperatures in Lower Egypt, Cairo and the north of Upper Egypt.

However, hot weather is expected in the south Upper Egypt during daylight hours, cooler at night.

 
Low and medium level clouds will appear in the north and east of the country.
 
Wind will be mostly nortwesterly and moderate in strength.
 
There will be stronger winds in the Gulf of Suez, the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, disrupting maritime navigation.
 
Wave hights in the Mediterranean Sea should be between 2 and 2.5 meters, and in the Red Sea between 2.5 and 3 meters, with a northwesterly surface wind in both cases.
 
Maximum temperatures in centigrade should be as follows:
 
Cairo: 31C
Alexandria: 27C
Sharm el-Sheikh: 33C
Luxor: 36C
Aswan: 38C.
