Temperatures to grow warmer across Egypt on Sunday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced that temperatures will continue to rise across the country on Saturday, with Cairo expected to reach 27 degrees Celsius.

The weather will be slightly cold in the early morning, becoming warm to hot during the day in most areas, and cold at night.

The EMA also warned of possible dust in the air over some exposed areas of the northwestern coast, Lower Egypt, and Greater Cairo.

Winds are expected to be occasionally active in some areas of the northeastern coast, the Suez Canal cities, and northern and central Sinai, potentially stirring up sand and dust in some exposed areas at intervals.

Low clouds are expected over parts of northern Egypt, extending to Greater Cairo and the Suez Canal cities.

Temperatures for Saturday:

  • Matrouh: 25C
  • Alexandria: 26C
  • Cairo, Sharm El-Sheikh: 27C
  • Hurghada: 28C
  • Luxor and Aswan: 31C
