Three people were injured in a collision on Tuesday between a train and a farm tractor in the Sadat district of Monufiya.
The several people were injured, including the train driver, and were transferred to hospital with bruises.
According to initial investigations, the tractor's driver crossed the barriers intended to stop traffic, resulting in a collision with the train as it passed through. The train was en route to Cairo from the north of Egypt.
The movement of trains was temporarily suspended after the incident.
