Three killed, 10 injured in collision Sunday

Three people were killed and 10 others injured in a collision Sunday morning in Giza.
 
A microbus coming from Meet Rahina collided with another before it fell into the Marioteya channel killing three and injuring 10 of the passengers, said head of Giza Traffic Department Major General Magdy Ezz Eddin.
 
Emergency respondents arriving at the scene of the accident t lifted the bodies of the victims from the water, Ezz Eddin added in a press statement.
 
Egypt reportedly has the highest rate of traffic accidents in the world.
 
According to a preliminary report for the World Health Organization, Egypt ranked first on the list of road accidents with a rate of 41.6 per 100,000 people. The survey was initiated in 2012 and included 178 countries.
