Video: Nelly Karim stars in new movie on Egyptian airstrike against IS in Libya

Egyptian actress Nelly Karim is starring in an upcoming film based on an Egyptian airstrike in Libya against the Islamic State (IS), called “El-Serb” (The Squadron).

Karim, starring as a hostage in the film, is scheduled to start filming within the next few days, as director Ahmed Nader Galal announced wrapping up other scenes in the movie.

The official teaser of the movie “El-Serb” was released a while back and immediately amassed millions of views. It features some big actors, including Ahmed al-Saka, Qusai Khouli, and other celebrities.

The promo contains a speech by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, in which he ordered to carry out a qualitative operation to bomb ISIS sites in the city of Derna in Libya.

Saka, Sherif Mounir, Aser Yassin, Karim Fahmy, Ahmed Hatem, Diab, and Mahmoud Abdel-Mughni, appear in the promo, and the scenes show the Air Force’s pilots in retribution for the martyrs of Egypt in Libya.

“El-Serb” is written by Omar Abdel Halim and stars Ahmed al-Saka, Diab, Karim Fahmy, Aser Yassin, Sherif Mounir and Mahmoud Abdel-Mughni.
