Video: Trailer for ‘House of the Dragon’ season 2 now out

The OSN platform announced the release date of the second season of the acclaimed fantasy series “House of The Dragon,” scheduled to be shown in summer 2024.

A spin-off of the “Game of Thrones” series, the latest season consists of eight episodes, and will be shown exclusively on the “OSN+” and “OSNtv” platforms in the Middle East – coinciding with its original airing date in North America.

HBO recently released the official teaser for the series, based on the novel “Fire and Blood” by novelist George R. R. Kennedy. R. Martin, during the 2023 Comic Con held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Set 200 years before the events of the main series, its story revolves around the Targaryen family.

It is co-written and produced by Ryan Condal, Sarah Hess, Alan Taylor, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin De La Noy, Lonnie Perister, and Vince Gerardis.

The new season will witness the return of many actors, including Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma Darcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabian Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno and Rhys Ifans, in addition to stars Harry Collette, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Via Saban, Jefferson Hall and Matthew Needham.

The new season sees a host of new stars join the cast, including Clinton Liberty as Adam Hal, Jamie Keena as Ser Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew as Hugh, Tom Bennett as Ulf, Tom Taylor as Lord Kerrigan Stark, and Vincent Regan who plays Ser Rickard Thorne.
