Warm temperatures continues to dominate Egypt on Thursday



Meteorologists predict moderate weather in the North Coast during the daytime on Thursday, with moderately warm weather in Cairo, the delta governorates and north Upper Egypt, with warm weather in South Sinai and hot temperatures at southern Upper Egypt.

By nightfall the weather will grow cold in the North Coast and South Sinai, and very cold in Cairo, the delta governorates and Southern Upper Egypt.

Alexandria: 20C

Cairo: 21C

Qena, Luxor: 24C

Aswan: 25C

 

Heavy mist will affect visibility on agricultural roads, highways and roads adjacent to bodies of water in Cairo, the delta governorates, the North Coast, Central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.

The country’s western areas will be affected by a high air pressure while the rest of the country will be impacted by low air pressures coming from Sudan.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters, with northeastern surface winds on the Mediterranean Sea and northwestern surface winds on the Red Sea.
