Warm temperatures, rain expected through the weekend



Meteorologists predict warm temperatures across the country throughout the weekend, with light rain falling in Cairo, the North Coast, and northern Upper Egypt, and heavy rain expected in the Delta Governorates on Friday.

The rain should move northwest Saturday, leaving Cairo, growing faint in the Delta Governorates, and hitting harder along the North Coast.

Both days will kick off with warm temperatures in all areas of the country, except the North Coast, which will remain cooler.

As the sun sets each night, Cairo, the Delta Governorates, and Upper Egypt will grow cold. Overnight temperatures will stay mild along the North Coast, and South Sinai.

Mist will affect visibility in Cairo, the Delta Governorates, and the North Coast.

Saturday will witness moderately strong winds blowing across northern Upper Egypt, the northwest coast, and the Gulf of Suez, disturbing the maritime navigation.

– Northeast coast and Central Sinai: 25C
