Meteorologists expect moderate weather on Saturday along the north coast while warmer temperatures are predicted for Lower Egypt, north Upper Egypt and Cairo. It’s expected to be hot in south Upper Egypt.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning in the north and central Sinai.
Low and medium level cloud cover is expected in the north and will be heavier along the north coast, accompanied by light rain.
Winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength, active in South Sinai and on the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range from between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea ranging from between 2 to 2.5 meters. Surface winds will be northwesterly in both seas.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 32C in Cairo and 30C in Alexandria, 37C in Qena, 39C in Luxor, and 38C in Aswan.
