Meteorologists predict hot and humid weather on Friday in Cairo and Lower Egypt, and hotter weather in the north of Upper Egypt, with a maximum of 34 degrees centigrade in the captial.
Very hot weather is predicted in the south of Upper Egypt. Qena should hit 39C, while Luxor will be around 40C and Aswan around 42C.
The north of Egypt, meanwhile, will be cooler, with Alexandria at 30C, while the Sinai resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh will be a much warmer 34C.
Medium and low-level clouds are expected along the north coast.
The wind will be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. It will be active in the Red and Mediterranean seas, the Gulf of Suez and Sinai.
