The forecast for Monday is a steady continuation of the hot, humid weather felt in most parts of the country over the past few days.
Cairo and the delta will see a hazy start to the morning, with patchy cloud moving in from the north over the course of the day. Temperatures in the capital will be around 35 degrees centigrade.
The north coast can expect cooler, less close weather, with temperatures resting at the 30 degree marker.
Hotter weather is forecast for Sinai and the south, with temperatures reaching 38 degrees centigrade in Sharm al-Sheikh, 39 in Hurghada, 41 in Luxor and 42 in Aswan.
The prevailing wind on Monday will be northwesterly. The waves on both the Mediterranean and the Red Sea will reach 2.5 meters in height, accompanied by a northwesterly surface wind.
