Meteorologists say mild weather will prevail along northern coasts on Thursday. Cairo and the Delta will experience high temperatures.
There will be highs of 34C in Cairo and 27C in Alexandria.
Extremely hot weather will be expected in Upper Egypt during the daytime. Highs of 42C will be reached in Qena, 43C in Luxor and 44C in Aswan.
Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen over most parts to be accompanied with rain on some parts. Heavier rain will shower western and southern Egypt as well as Red Sea mountains.
Moderate northeastern winds will blow across most parts, whipping up sand and dust in some areas, which will disturb maritime navigation in the Mediterranean.
Waves in the Mediterranean will reach 2-2.5 meters, with northeastern winds prevailing; waves in the Red Sea will reach 1.5-2 meters, with southeastern winds prevailing.
