Meteorologists expect hot weather on Tuesday across Egypt, with the highest temperatures south of Upper Egypt, growing cooler along the north coast and at night.
Temperatures predicted are 41C in Aswan, 41C in Luxor, 40C in Qena, 36C in Cairo and 32C in Alexandria.
Low-level clouds will appear over the northern parts of the country. Mist will affect visibility on roads in the north in the morning.
Winds are expected to be mostly northeasterly and moderate in strength, and will be active in the Gulf of Suez, affecting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea around 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwestern in both seas.
