Weather forecast for Wednesday

Meteorologists predict hot and humid weather on Wednesday in Cairo and Lower Egypt, and hotter weather in the north of Upper Egypt, with a maximum of 34 degrees centigrade in the captial.
 
Very hot weather is predicted in the south of Upper Egypt. Qena should hit 38C, while Luxor will be around 38C and Aswan around 39C.
 
The north of Egypt, meanwhile, will be cooler, at Alexandria at 31C, while the Sinai resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh will be a much warmer 37C.
 
Mist will affect visibility on roads in the morning along the north coast, in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the Suez Canal cities. Medium and low-level clouds are expected along the north coast.
 
The wind will be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. It will be active in the south of the country, South Sinai, the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
 
Waves on the Mediterranean are expected to average between 1 and 1.5 meters high, while on the Red Sea they should be 2.5 to 3 meters high. A northwesterly surface wind is expected in both seas.
