Zamalek Club resigned coach says was forced to quit

Ahmed Hossam, resigned coach of Zamalek Club, said upon declaring his resignation that he was forced to quit.
 
"I was forced to resign after receiving many calls from the club board requesting from me either to resign and apologize instead of being dismissed," adding he was heavily burdened and that he did not find the work atmosphere suitable.
 
Hossam submitted officially his resignation after his club lost 2-0 in the match with Smouha Club on Wednesday within the four-team mini-league.
 
In a tweet, Hossam said, "I would like to thank the great fans of Zamalek Club for their support since the first day until the last moment. I apologize for being unable to achieve your dreams."
