Ferreira, the Portuguese coach of the Zamalek Football Club, signed a six-month contract until the end of the season, to be extended for another season, for US$45,000 per month.
His assistant will earn $15,000, his second assistant $10,000 and the physical fitness trainer will earn $7,000.
A club board member said Ferreira delayed his arrival from Thursday to Friday because he insisted to finalize the salaries of his aides before signing the contract, adding that the board was afraid he would not accept the offer when he delayed his flight.
