Cairo-Beni Suef agricultural road reopened

A group calling itself "Unknown Elements" has claimed responsibility for blocking the agricultural road of Cairo-Beni Suef. The incident occurred early on Saturday before the group escaped.

They placed flaming tires, stones and pieces of wood on the road before Maymoun village. Security troops and fire fighters arrived to put out the fire and reopened the road to traffic.

A movement called "Unknown Elements Against Interior Ministry" claimed responsibility for blocking the road in protest against the police, who banned marches by the Brotherhood in the village after Friday prayers.

Beni Suef security troops dispersed a march by the Brotherhood at Maymoun village, using teargas canisters and warning shots.
