The 22nd Cairo International Film Festival for Children will take place from 26 March – 2 April, 2015.
The festival’s administration committee will include Mohamed Afifi, Supreme Council for Culture secretary general, as the festival’s general supervisor, Soheir Abdel Qader, as the festival’s secretary general, Iman Sanad, head of the Egyptian National Center for Children Culture, as the festival’s general director.
The festival was cancelled in 2011 and 2013 due to budget issues and political turmoil. The 21st session was held in 2012
