Ghada Adel returns to cinema with ‘Ahwak’

Actress Ghada Adel has expressed her eagerness in returning to the cinema with her new movie "Ahwak", starring Tamer Hosni and directed by Mohamed Samy.

"Ahwak" will be Adel's first movie after "Ala Gothety" in which she starred with Ahmed Helmy.

Adel's new movie is due to be screened during Eid al-Adha. "Ahwak" is a new experience for Adel who cooperated for the first time with the movie's crew, including Hosni, actor Mahmoud Hemeida and director Mohamed Samy.

Adel stressed that she always seeks new experiences that will surprise her fans, as was the case with the "Al-Ahd" series that was shown during Ramadan.

"Hosni is a distinct singer who has his own audience and who has also had cinematic successes with several movies. Hemeida is a great actor and a professor with whom I always wished to work," said Adel.

Adel said the movie is a romantic comedy and is the story of a plastic surgeon who falls in love with a beatiful lady. He later finds himself in conflict with an old man who also seeks the attention of that lady.

The movie stars Amal Rezq, Entisar and Ahmed Malek. It is written by Walid Youssef.
