Egyptian policeman was killed in Upper Egyp'ts Sohag on Friday morning, according to MENA.
The low ranking policeman, whose body was found in a side road near his home, was shot three times, initial investigatios showed.
The reason behind the attack and the identity of the murderers are still unknown.
Meanwhile, attacks against elements and institutions of police and military by armed militants have surged since the military ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi in July 2013.
