Kafr al-Sheikh police on Thursday defused a bomb that was placed in a motorcycle outside the governorate's Security Directorate.
The motorcycle was suspiciously parked inside the buffer zone of the building with no license plates.
The bomb was connected to the gas tank and was set to explode when the engine starts.
