Clashes broke out at the Muslim Brotherhood headquarters in Moqattam, eastern Cairo, between supporters and opponents of President Mohamed Morsy.

They protesters chanted, “Down with the guide’s rule,” referring to the supreme guide of the group. One of the protesters told Al-Masry Al-Youm that they will continue demanding the ouster of Morsy.

Central Security Forces cordoned the headquarters from all directions to block protesters from reaching the area. The headquarters also service as the permanent office for the Guidance Bureau, the group’s top executive body.
