Joint troops deployed over 6 October bridge to prevent Muslim Brotherhood access to Tahrir Square

 
 
Military troops were deployed on the 6 October Bridge to prevent Muslim Brotherhood members from reaching Tahrir Square.
 
Meanwhile, clashes among the group members and police as well as residents resumed in Ramsis district.
 
Police fired teargas to disperse the protesters. More joint military and police forces arrived to prevent the protesters access to Tahrir and to disperse them from Ramsis.
 
The National Alliance Supporting Legitimacy, which supports deposed President Mohamed Morsy, earlier called for protests on Sunday against the ‘military coup against legitimacy’ coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the 6 October War victory. Meanwhile, the Tamarod movement and other political groups called for protesting in Tahrir and other squares to celebrate the victory.
