No water in Suez due to main line damage

Suez City experienced a widespread water outage from Thursday evening to Friday afternoon, angering residents.

Hossam Boraei, the media spokesperson for Suez Governorate, said that the city’s main water line in Abdel Aziz Street was damaged, causing the outage.

Residents were notified of the problem via TV and radio announcements, and municipal authorities have been coordinating maintenance efforts since Thursday evening, he said.
