Two Conference Party vice chairmen resign

Conference Party deputy head and spokesman Salah Hasaballah and his counterpart for parliamentary affairs Moataz Mahmoud resigned on Wednesday evening, following disagreements with the chairman regarding internal management and decision-making inside the party.
 
Hasaballah told Al-Masry Al-Youm about his resignation, adding that Mahmoud had intended to resign for a long time, hoping that the situation would improve.
 
He said he would announce a new political party that represents the younger generation, led by a famous public figure appreciated by the people.
 
The Conference Party issued a statement Wednesday evening, announcing that the resignations of both party official have been accepted.
 
Secretary General Amin Rady said the party appreciates the efforts of both officials over the past three years.
