Verdict in Alexandria killing protesters case 22 February

Alexandria Criminal Court ruled on Monday to set 22 February for the sentence hearing in the case of killing demonstrators in Alexandria during the January 2011 revolution.
 
Defendants in the case are former head of Alexandria security directorate Mohammed Ibrahim, former head of the Central Security in Alexandria Adel al-Laqany, Colonel Wael al-Komy and a number of officers and detectives.
 
The court heard in previous session the testimony of witnesses who said they did not see the officers firing at protestors with their own eyes.
