Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Waly has dissolved 10 Muslim Brotherhood associations, of which nine were in Daqahlia and one was in Beheira.
The minister has also dissolved and replaced boards of 29 other associations, including 28 in Minya and one in Cairo.
“We are applying the ruling of the Cairo Court of Urgent Matters banning Muslim Brotherhood activities,” she said, adding that the money seized from those associations will be added to the NGO fund.
The new military-backed government has cracked down on any Brotherhood-linked organizations since the group was officially declared a terrorist organization.
