23 MB supporters handed 10 years rigorous imprisonment

Giza Criminal Court, headed by Judge Moataz Khafaga, sentenced Sunday, 23 Muslim Brotherhood supporters to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of over LE275,000 in case known as the "Media Production City events".
Thirteen defendants were acquitted.
South Giza prosecutors, competent to investigate cases of terrorism, headed by Judge Medhat Mekky, accused the defendants of burning police vehicles and private vehicles, and the attempted murder of officers, soldiers, and civilians, and damaging the Media Production City properties before the dispersal of Rabaa al-Adaweya and Al-Nahda sit-ins in 2013.
