6 April Movement, Revolutionary Socialists deny coordination with Brotherhood

The April 6 Movement and Revolutionary Socialists on Thursday denied claims by the Hazemoun group that they have coordinated protests with the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy.

“How can that be if we consider the Brotherhood and the military council to be against the revolution,” said 6 April media spokesperson Mohamed Kamal. “Our members are always under observation and the Brotherhood cannot penetrate our movement.”

“The alliance is trying to give itself a civilian cover,” he added.

Meanwhile, Haitham Mohamedein of the Revolutionary Socialists said at a news conference on Wednesday that his movement will not allow the Brotherhood or its allies to participate in the third anniversary of the revolution.

“The Brotherhood and the military are far from the demands of the revolution,” he added.
