
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) warned of continued extreme heat on Saturday and the coming days across most parts of the country.
The authority advised people to avoid direct exposure to the sun, especially during the noon.
It further advised that anyone going out should wear a head covering to protect themselves from the sun’s rays and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun to avoid heat exhaustion.
Active winds are also expected in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, causing sand and dust storms in Halayeb and Shalateen.
Conditions at sea:
The Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate, with waves ranging from one to 1.5 meters high, and northwestern winds.
The Red Sea will be occasionally moderate to rough, with waves ranging from 1.5 to 2.25 meters high, and active northwestern winds.

- Cairo: 35C
- Hurghada: 38C
- Sharm el-Sheikh: 40C
- Luxor: 43C
- Aswan: 42C
