The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities confirmed on Saturday that the King Farouk Corner Museum in Helwan is completely safe and unaffected by any fire.
In a statement, the ministry dismissed as “fake” all reports circulated on social media about a fire at the museum.
It explained that the fire occurred in a nearby agricultural nursery located about two kilometers away and has no connection to the museum.
The ministry called on the public and media to verify information through official sources and avoid spreading false claims.
