The Al-Azhar University administration decided to close the university dormitories on Thursday.
Spokesperson Ahmed Zarea said the university strongly condemns the terrorist act that took place in front of the dormitories on Monday, killing three policemen and wounding nine others. He said that the decision to close the dormitories were a result of the attack.
“Those acts will not affect the exams,” he said.
