On the other hand, there is dispute in the government over the date of the Egypt's economic summit, which was scheduled to be held on February 21st and 22nd, 2015, according to an official source.

"Some see that the conference should be postponed till March 2015 since th current date will fall during religious ceremonies in a large number of East Asian countries, whom the government is counting on to implement giant investments in Suez Canal project,"  the source said. "Others believe that the conference's postponement after announcing the date officially represents a threat to the credibility of the government."
