Clashes between security, Brotherhood students resume outside Azhar University

Clashes between security troops and Muslim Brotherhood students of Azhar University have erupted again on Sunday outside the university and Faculty of Agriculture for the second consecutive day since start of the first semester’s exams.
 
Security confronted attempts by the students to break into the university. Additional troops were sent to other faculties of the university.
 
In other news, the Health Ministry announced that protests staged across the nation on Saturday left one victim dead in Cairo.
 
In a statement on Saturday evening, the ministry said total number of injured persons totaled 29 citizens at hospitals of the ministry in Cairo, Sharqiya and Suez. All of them are currently being treated.
 
Clashes erupted early on the day between security, residents and the Brotherhood supporters using stones and molotovs. Security responded using teargas bombs to disperse them. Many were arrested and referred to prosecution
 
A security source to MENA that a total of 101 students were arrested in the incidents.
 
The Cabinet vowed that the protests by Brotherhood supporters would not hinder scheduled exams.
