Cold, cloudy, rainy weather for Egypt on Monday

Meteorologists anticipate cold, cloudy, rainy weather on northern Egypt, Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt on Monday during the daytime, with warmer temperatures predicted at South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains and moderate temperatures on southern Upper Egypt.

Very cold weather across the country is expected by nightfall.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 15C in Cairo, 16C in Alexandria and 20C in Qena, Luxor, and Aswan.

Low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated across most parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall on the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, central Sinai, Upper Egypt, and Red Sea mountains.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate, active on Upper Egypt, blowing up sand and dust, and at northwestern coasts, disrupting maritime navigation in there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.4 and 1.8 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds over both seas.
