Cold weather, strong winds expected Thursday

Meteorological Authority experts expect chilly weather Thursday on the North Coast, in Cairo and Upper Egypt. Weather will be mild during the day in the south and very cold at night.
 
Mist is expected to affect visibility in the morning in Lower Egypt, Cairo and the Suez Canal cities. Low and medium clouds will multiply on the north and temperatures are expected to reach freezing in central and North Sinai. Wind is expected to be mostly active and southwesterly. It will be active in the west and south of the country, the Gulf of Suez, as well as in the Red Sea and Mediterranean, which may cause disruption of maritime navigation.
 
High waves are expected in the Mediterranean ranging between four to five meters, where wind will be southwesterly.
 
The condition of the Red Sea shall waver between moderate to turbulent, as wave heights are expected to be between three to four meters, where wind will be northwesterly.
