Court renews custody of 173 suspects accused of inciting violence during Nahda sit-in

Cairo Criminal Court on Tuesday renewed the custody of 173 suspects for 45 days pending investigations for alleged incitement of violence during a sit-in staged by the Muslim Brotherhood in Nahda Square.
 
The prosecution has accused the suspects of murder, damaging public and private property, possessing unlicensed weapons and ammunition as well as assaulting police and civil servants while they were performing their duties.
