Egypt allocates US$50 million to attract tourists

Egypt has allocated US$50 million to promote Egyptian tourism abroad, according to an official from Tourism Ministry.
 
The official told Anadolu Agency on Wednesday that the international campaign includes launching public propaganda at the main markets like Russia, Germany, Poland, England, Ukraine and Italy.
 
“We will intensify publicity in foreign markets by January. It will be in form of electronic publicity at main streets, means of transportation, TV commercials at prime time,” he added indicating to other forms.
 
“Campaigns will be launched in the market through four phases at the markets which depend on the last minute reservation of tourist trips, while other markets which make regular reservations will be through two phases in the summer and winter,” he said.
 
The official expected outcome of the campaign to be clear in six months as well as reaching rates of last year by end of the year.
