Elections update: Police bar non-NDP representatives access to polling station

Police forces have encircled the Tareq Ibn Ziad School in the Sahel district of Shubra, Cairo, and are allowing strictly representatives of National Democratic Party (NDP) candidates into the polling station.

In the Sahel constituency, Ali Radwan is the NDP’s candidate for the professional seat and Sayyed Rustum is the NDP candidate for the workers seat. Former Ahly football player and Wafd Party candidate Taher Abu Zaid and Hazem Farouq from the Muslim Brotherhood are also vying for the professional seat.
