Fire guts 12 cars, seven motorbikes in Sharqiya

A huge fire broke out on Friday in a vehicle parking area on an empty plot of land owned by Diyarb Negm police station, leaving 12 cars and seven three-wheeled motorbikes burnt.

Six fire engines were sent to the scene and brough the fire under control. No casualties were reported.

A security source blamed the fire on the fallure of a high-pressure cable, which caused sparks that led to the fire.

A police report was filed. Prosecution conducted investigations.
