Hot weather expected for Sunday, Cairo 32C



 

Meteorologists predict hot weather on Sunday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the highest temperatures expected for southern Upper Egypt during daylight hours, growing mild by night.

Temperatures predicted include 30C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 37C in Qena, 38C in Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are expected in the north.

Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on southern Upper Egypt, South Sinai, Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be rough between 2.5 to 3 meters high.

Surface winds will be northwestern for both seas.
