Hot weather expected for Sunday, Cairo 35C

 

Meteorologists expect hot weather to prevail on Sunday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are predicted along the north coast, with hottest temperatures at southern Upper Egypt in the daylight hours, growing mild by night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 32C in Alexandria, 35C in Cairo, 38C in Qena, 40C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are to be expected in the north.

Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate, active on the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez and possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height.

Surface winds will be northwestern on both seas.
